My laptop is hooked up to my TV I have a virgin mobile mifi from Walmart. Virgin mobile uses sprints network. I watch Netflix all the time on it and is only $50 a month for unlimited. Sprint is slower then the others so netflix will buffer some but I put up with it because it is unlimited. I did get a Wilson mobile antenna and it helps out some. The speed is not all that much better but in areas where I couldn't get a sprint signal I now can so now I use my smart phone less and save money.

Why don't you get a tailgater satelite system....then you should be able to get the MLB package....or just get XM and listen .... I don't even try to watch tv shows on my sprint its way to slow and that buffering would annoy me

The problem with Sprint is that they "throttle." This means that if you use a lot of data they will slow down your connection and streaming will not be possible. This happened to me and I left them a couple of years ago.

It is going to cost you a lot any way you do it. The cheapest probably would be getting a satellite dish. Millenicom offers "unlimited" data but it is off of Sprint's network so you would still be subject to throttling. I was using Millenicom and it got to the point where I could not watch anything streaming without constant buffering.

I'm planning to get a VuQube eventually for TV. Right now I have an expensive data plan with Verizon. It is 22gb for $100 with hotspot. But it works great and there is 4g in many locations. During football season I had to be careful about not going over 22gb, but usually I'm below that.

Had it. Could only stream about half the time. I also rent movies and tv shows from Blockbuster when I'm home and record them onto my hard drive. I don't do Netflix. My data usage comes from watching tv from my home satellite through a Sling adapter. And the Sling player is much better about configuring for internet speed and not breaking up and buffering a lot. But, still, I've found Verizon is the best.

I haven't found the sprint buffering to be that much but I don't watch regular TV on it either. I usually watch old TV episodes of the website that I like. An hour show in a good area will buffer once through the middle and 2 or 3 times in a low area. I just count them like commercials :biggrin_2559: My main problem with Sprint is the coverage have been in several areas where it is not at all or real low. Was curious about the Verizon plan is that through your phone the most I can get with AT&T is 5GB and that is nowhere near enough for anything.
