Ohhhhhhh..... yeah, I mentioned having mine in the original post, and it does have a chinstrap. Never heard it called a brain bucket but I guess that makes sense now so that's a ✅

A broom. Don't be one of those nimrods who clean 6" of snow off your trailer by just getting on the highway and blinding everyone behind you.

I'll have to grab a 8' stepladder. Will v-boards be different from the corner protectors I get, aluminum vs plastic? How small, tie downs? Like unrated 2" 3-4' straps for little things or like zip ties? Truck rope is just for loose ends or does it have a dedicated value for securement? Flags, lamps & clamps✅ and any specific gauge or type of wire and for what purpose?

Will do, with vans I had an excuse "can't get up there" but I guess I'll have to keep the broom I used to sweep the trailer with. Thanks driver

2" straps have a rating. Even those little motorcycle straps are rated.

I liked keeping shackles handy when I did lowboy work. You never know when one might prove useful.

Blocks, bungees, exhaust covers, extra flags and oversized signs. Honestly, I can't even think of everything. I just know when something is missing. Jumper cables for those dead machines, wd40 for starting those said machines.

That time when things go missing are the worst. I've got a few things in the truck that have very limited use and honestly just take up space 99% of the time. It seems the only time I need those things are when I loaned them to another driver for a couple days.
