I was hired at a new company tested and was scheduled for load the company I left 9 days later say I have to take a random for them , I asked them to find a location near me and I will do it, but questioned them as to why if I’ve already left the company, but if necessary I would they sent me info to a site that was 400 miles away from my home, I was still going to drive my car those mile but the day before I can get there the ex employer submitted a refusal now I can’t drive , what should I do

Lawyer up. All correspondence between you and this company that is in writing, save it.

Your previous employer most likely received sat on the random test notification for some time prior to your departure. Have your lawyer find out when they got the notification.

since you are not using proper punctuation, i cannot follow what you are saying.

    1) were you STILL employed at that last employer, and went job shopping?

    2) did the NEW employer send YOU out for a pre-employment screening?

    3) were you HIRED by the new employer?

    4) did the last employer send you for a random during this time you were still with them?

    5) if so, then you were STILL employed by your last employer and didn't make it to the clinic in time, and that's what got you a refusal...

Your new company has a record that you did a clean pee test . Send that to the reporting agency and state you were employed elsewhere at the time. Personally I’d let my former company know a lawyer will be in touch . If you were still employed at the time you are SOL .

I told the last employer I would take it but since they gave me a site 400 miles away how was I supposed to make that when I asked them to find a site in my location?

Yes the new company sent me the results of my test to help me which was taken 3 days prior to the old company reporting a refusal, I was gone from old company for 9 days at this time already, and scheduled on a load w
