    Ironically before its demise Transaero was Russia’s safest airline! They never had a single hull loss or accident. From my understanding there was some “interference” from the Russian government where they tried to bring the company’s CEO up on trumped up charges! With production of the 747 ending next year these planes are going to be valuable for freighter conversion,as most passenger airlines have phased them out of their fleets.
