This is a useful light for stuff like that; extend the reeled cords, wrap it around something and the spring loaded reel will tighten up. Can be put around a wrist, your head, an ICC, any pole. I used one as a rear marker for a train one night when I didn't have the pukka item, wrapped it around a red flag stick in blink mode.

The one here is far newer than my old tank, so I don't know what all the new modes are.

EDIT, that particular one has red light apparently, not sure if they still make white lights with those or not. An REI or other outfitter could tell you.

i cannot count the number of times, i had to get out and clean up broken pallets up against a door i needed. it was easier to just roll over them, but then with my luck, i'd have several nails in the tires as well.

One of the myriad reasons I prefer linehaul.

Harbor Freight has those high powered lights for about $8.
