This killed me when I was there. I was consistently in the top 5 drivers of the north salt lake OC, and it took me a year to get .40 (dryvan, with 13 years exp) but some 1 yr rookie in another area gets a 10k bonus and .41 cpm out of the gate. Our recruiter flat out called me a liar, so I showed her the ad that SNI had for several other OCs , and Utah was the lowest paid. I stayed out for 3 months at a time and hardly ever went nack to that OC, but got paid less than a rookies starting wage somewhere else.

    Still irritates me

Yeah I think it's dumbest thing... if someone's has to pay more for a gallon of milk cause of where they live that's not my fault.

I was just wondering because im supposed to run regional for Schneider bulk out of Bessemer, AL. I've done a lot of reading on the post and was wondering if I should go otr cause the email the gave me said average 1600 miles a week I believe. Kinda worried about short runs

You will still do ok doing short runs and if you want to stay out longer and go further just tell your manager when u first go out. I personally like otr, I atleast wanna do 10 days when I go out, and I pretty much do long runs only

GenX and I are both closing in on graduation. He will be testing out this week and I the next. We are discussing it and are seriously leaning hard towards Schneider Bulk the second week of August for orientation. He is looking at regional work and I'm looking at OTR. Will update y'all
