Schneider said 41 so yeah, Superior sounds like the way to go.
-
Will do that. Thanks -
@19d I'm with Schneider now and I've said something to my dbl about transferring to tankers and Ill just say it aint gonna happen, I'm on a dedicated van deal right now so I'm guessing if I call the Charlotte desk they'll connect me with a tanker dbl to get transferred and i'm not a vet so.

This is a no brainer, If Superior offers you a job. Take them up on it.Mortarmaggot Thanks this.

Thank you my estranged friend. Myself and another have been considering it for a while. I just have to wait an extra week for the HAZMAT to make up 7 grand in tuition. Yeah, Superior sounds like the better choice unless Schneider matches or gets close to the 50 cents.Last edited: Jul 15, 2017

One thing, I'd like to mention is that, with tankers, your pay per mile isnt as important as other sides of trucking, like dryvan and alot of flatbed. We get alot of accessory pay and that is where you can really pad the paycheck. So when you investigate tanker companies, that's where you really need to understand wjat they do and don't pay for.
Even if SNI offers you more cents per mile initially Superior offers better accessory pay. Ethos was a bulk trainer for years at SNI. He left for Trimac, ran them for a few years and then went to superior.
@wsyrob has been at Superior for years.
They pay you to sleep in the truck, for crying out loud lol.slim shady and Mortarmaggot Thank this. -
Just never go to this place called markham. Or anywhere within 200 milesslim shady Thanks this.

You will probably have to do 6 or 12 months aslong as u didn't sight no contract for nothing and can switch to tanker. But enjoy that dedicated run good man, hope it's no dollar store type run where u gotta unload it. Heard they pay good but a lot work. But work is good anyways right. I'm not sure who you talk to to switch from van to tanker. Your Dbl will probably not help you much cause they will want to keep you. So go around them I think will be best

I've got less than a month before my 1year deal with this dedicated account and I'll get the last part of my bonus,it's been good and the pay is ok and it's not Dollar general ive did that before and it sucks, but it's starting to get a little boring going to the same stores everyday and the 300 mile round trip every 6days to home in my pv is getting old to so I'm looking around to move somewhere in the company, thanks for your help, I think I'll be calling the Charlotte desk.
