Example of Schneider tanker pay

My TWIC card came in today and my background for HAZMAT is done, so I have the X endorsement and TWIC in hand.

Told recruiter via email to set me up for Monday the 7th. Will call Superior tomorrow to see if they are doing a bonus but it looks like I'm headed to Schneider for a year.

 

Schneider's recruiter waited until Tuesday afternoon to get back to me. Superior's terminal manager, Jack, out of Wilmington spoke with me. He said to hold tight and he'll get me in for a road test next week.

Had a great conversation with him. I was surprised at how much he discussed taking time off to be with the family. Superior really sounds family friendly. Felt the same after speaking with the terminal manager out of High Point. Jack said Mac had given him a call about me, so he was expecting my application.

Putting Schneider on hold until I see how the road test goes. I don't foresee any issues though.

Man, I like these two companies. Thank goodness I chose tankers.

 

Superior is the right choice

 

You mentioned that a while ago and it's been eating at me. I just can't pass up a road test. Jack feels confident about me getting on there after reviewing my application. I don't think I'd be unhappy with either tanker outfit, but the culture and perks at Superior are too good to pass up a chance with.

You'll get more hometime and make the same amount or more at superior.

 

I agree. Jack is running all the checks and if it all comes up good, I'll be taking a road test next week for Superior. If that falls thru, Schneider has a bus ticket ready for me. No way too lose in this scenario. So glad I wanted tankers
