So for picking up a pre loaded trailer or dropping a loaded at customer and leaving you get 20 bucks? Just being sure on this because I feel you should. And I currently dont. And is high point a good terminal to be based out of for a company driver?

Yes and Yes. I run out of High Point.
-
Seems they get you home a lot for resets being out of their. I have the opposite of this going on. Orange which I really like working for and all has no problem having you do a reset on the road because they only pay me 65 bucks and I'm stuck in that truck for 34 hours in a truck stop parking lot. I would rather just come home and get no layover pay. Or maybe even a hotel I've heard mentioned if on the road. I asked for a hotel the other day and was told they quit doing that at orange and that I was sitting in my hotel. Lol .. might need you to private mssg me with who I could contact in high point to talk to

I actually cherish being home more than money. And driving to Charlotte from Sanford can not last forever. It's just to far away, sooner or later I gotta do something different
-
Looking at checks the past 9 hace just had the worse luck either been doing 178 mile dedicated or 135 dedicated or in Chicago for 38 hours at a time
-
System is basically otr dealing with the next inbound terminal. But I think the best is the dedicated like rob is doing. We have runs that are 2000 round trip you can do in 3 days and make about 1050. I've been doing dedicated too but it's a whole different game just drive 135 miles one way turn and keep doing that for a week or so.

I have been with Superior for 10 years. Ran the system until about 3 years ago. My wife got breast cancer so I needed to be home more about the same time a couple of dedicated guys retired and they put me on it full time.
Before that I got a mix of dedicated loads and system loads. Always had good home time. The worse thing about the system is you sometimes feel like a second class citizen at some of the terminals. They take care of their guys first and you get the scraps. You also don't want to piss someone off. That can lead to a coal mine every time you go there.
I documented a bunch of it in several threads in the Superior Carriers sub forum. -
Sounds like a bunch of Markham loads. The have plenty of short ones out of there.
-
Well everytime I go markham I get the same load 860 miles back to the house. Just got to wait a day or two before I load it and they always piss me on layover because I get exactly 38 hour everytime
-
Yeah that stuff happens, my last two loads they put me on were 1600 miles a piece. But sometimes I get the compartment trailer running all over Kentucky servicing the coal mines. I have been down so many roads while saying to myself I know a big truck should not be going down thru here lol. But as it turned out yep I was supposed to be on that hog path for 8 miles hahaim6under Thanks this.
