Example of Schneider tanker pay

Well, couldn't find that ad. Probably a junk job anyway.
Temp services are pretty good; usually can work when you want to. I worked for one in Nashville for a short period of time. The first load was to California so I said, "NO" I want home often and they accomodated me. Was home almost every night.

My main problem with Schneider bulk was the ridiculously crazy micro management and constant layovers. Every time at a bulk OC it seemed you'd have an OSR randomly inspecting your equipment. Gary was the worst for this.

Plus the fact that in 3 months running bulk they made me take 3 piss drug tests, 2 hair tests and 1 saliva test. Ridiculous. And always expect at least one 34 layover every single week. At one point I had 3 34 hour layovers in an 8 day period

 

@19d First off thank you for your service! I am wondering...is your nick for your MOS? I am curious because I was a 19D Cav Scout also (Scouts Out!!)! From '85-'90.

Also love hearing about how you are doing on the tanker gig. One of the jobs I am thinking of doing once I get my kidney transplant. How physical is it? Is there much lifting involved? I have to be careful of weights since I will be restricted with the new kidney. Anyways stay safe out there and am looking to hear how you are doing!
