I suspect you're right. The pavement between 1604 and 725 has been awful since I was in high school - and I'm in my early 40s now.

The lengend of that name is from the Texas revolution Era. A flood on that creek through their property carried away a settler womans husband and children and were never found. Land is unstable in this area. I10 is a dividing line. North side of hwy is black gumbo clay south side is sandy loam. Hard to build on it. The ground moves a lot. That happens often in Alberta Canada and bc . Many fly by night outfits have no yard so they use the truck stop . Many send their wives to truck stop and hold a spot for them .not4hire, Farmerbob1, 650cat425 and 1 other person Thank this.
