I always figured that was the reason for it, I just didn't know if there was some other meaning behind it. Thanks

Can’t let this thread die. Stopped at the Loves in Hudson CO on my way out of town this morning. The problem with making your own spot late at night is that this happens when all your neighbors leave in the morning. Had all his windows covered up when I pulled in, when I left he was finally awake and getting ready to go.

A lot of times when you see somebody parked in an obscure way you have to take it with a grain of salt because you don’t know what was there that might’ve kind of force them to have to park in a weird way. I remember one time I parked in an open gravel lot. I was the first truck in there. Rather than risk parking at the end and getting my nose or tail clipped I parked in the center. Nice and straight. Fast forward a few hours Later, trucks come in and they park next to be leaving gaps and they’re crooked. Someone came up and pounded on my door and said if I would move over about 4 feet then he would have room to park. Lol he just assumed it was me that took a double spot. I politely told him I was the first one here he needed to go ask the other guy to move. Lol

    You're right.
What I always did was try to imagine what the last dip ###### was going to do.
    That kinda works.

It always amazes me the pure chaos that gravel lot truck stops turn into. It’s like drivers have never been in a parking lot with lines before. If someone comes and parks 8’ away from me, I’ll move closer to them. Ive actually had guys give me a nasty look and leave after doing that.
