Hi everyone, can anyone provide me with some examples of weight-constrained payloads? In a previous post, produce haulers and grain haulers were mentioned. I came across an organization that was lobbying for increases in weight limits for six-axle trucks (http://www.transportationproductivity.org/members.php) but before I try contacting these companies, if anyone can shed some insight, that would be greatly appreciated.

    anything with HIGH density.

Cement, flyash, sand, steel, shingle grit etc.

    Low volume, high weight.

scrap metal. any type of baled scrap metal is going to be heavy.I am not referencing baled aluminum cans. open top trailers w/the crushed cars/metal products going to recyclers such as omnisource will be heavy. the fluff,or byproduct of the separation of all the scrap metals at recyclers, hauled in walking floors and/or open top tippers is going to be heavy.
