Wow dude chill, I was just explaining how to save a crap load of money and still eat very well. Last time I checked this was a TMC thread, TMC does allow inverters also Most of the food I mentioned was not "prepackaged crap". And for the amount I spent on everything ha ha, you asked for it... Microwave $5 (thrift store) Crock pot $3 (thrift store) Toaster oven $20 (walmart) Truck came with refrigerator but if it didn't, a 12v cooler works great and they are around $100 So STILL after buying all that plus my food I'm still WAY WAY under what you spend a week in fast food. Eat how you want spend how you want. But in 5 years I'll still be 190lbs while your broke and 400 lbs panting waddling to the buffet.
Yop, personal assumption on YOUR part not mine. That is were YOU are making it personal attacks. I don't trust 12 volt coolers to keep cold food (even with frozen food in the cooler) safe. The trucks I have had with refrigerators, don't seem to have them work for long.
I apologize, It was not my intention to make any personal attacks or ruffle and feathers. Again I'm sorry.
Indiana, I want to say I love you Maaan! I just received my Pre-hire and will be leaving as soon as I get my CDL hard copy I am headed to orientation! I was thinking old school peanut butter and jelly and bologna and cheese. Never even thought of crock pot! I can't wait to hit the road with the smell of a delicious roast bubbling in my own crock pot! Then hitting the truck stop finding a bench and sitting down with an awesome meal!
