you don't respond on the board/boards? you're seeking private contact?
I'm sure I'm just paranoid, but sounds a bit "13stepper" to me.

anyway, thanks for supporting the rookies. most of us need all the help we can get.

my primary concern right now if should I lose my current job, how hard it will be for me to find another. I want to keep driving, really liking tanker/water hauling. However I am afraid I have not received proper training and will have difficulty getting anywhere else to hire me. my backing skill stink, I don't mean just a little, I mean skunk rolled in Limburger cheese left out in the heat kind of stink, lol.
I'm not sure how to fix my driving skills. not many locations are large enough to practice. I'm so afraid of messing up, hate to get stuck. (done it twice now, once on accident, once cause was trying to practice backing)
most seem perfection is the only option, and I'm so far from perfect it's sad. I was told my training is up, should know by now, no one going to hold my hand, so my time for asking questions or getting advice on the job is over. I've about give up, I'll never be a driver. I just steering wheel holder till this job runs out. then I'll see what happens from there.

Not to break your balls or anything here, BUT why do you, a driver claiming three whole years of driving experience, feel you have become an "expert." And why the email bit, instead of just normal posts.

Now you can try to treat me the way you did REDD, but the fact is, that something here just does not SMELL right!

    Wow..Straight to namecalling and cussing?

Calm down Francis.Im not a Rookie with a question, i am just a 11 year veteran and i could ask you questions that would make your head hurt and leave you searching for answers on Google.......

And whats with the "Typical ***hole trucker" comment?
Are not a truck driver?...oh,you must not be "Typical"..
so you are Atypical?...why dont you share with us what makes you so special?

You seem to have a "Typical 4wheeler" attitude.

Im guessing the closest youve ever been to a truck was walking around them at the truckstop looking up!!

Rerun8963 and Diesel Dave Thank this.

exactly what I'm thinking! maybe y'all not familiar with the term "13stepper"?

there is a forum somewhere on here for pen pals I'm sure, thought I seen it.

the forums and boards here are cool, most the folks are great, imo. I prefer open posting, someone else might have the same thought or question, just haven't had time to post. ya know?
I not going to dog on ya for the request of private conversations, I just think would help more new people if done openly in forum. perhaps your just trying to introduce yourself and that you are willing to email/pen pal? maybe you dont want to take time to read thru the board and for questions or make suggestions?
I dunno, but I do have to agree, something about your original post feels, well, off.

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.

personally just ignore comments that are wasting other peoples time because they have no useful information for newbies or to this thread. do your thing and help out the new ones when they post some questions on here.. atleast your using your time to help someone and not diss someone. thanks for the thread, hope some people can find some answers here to there questions. this is indeed a trucking forum for trucking related situations as "answering questions for newbies" this is not facebook with drama, get real.. jeez. be safe and healthy, take it easy.
