I asked driver who drove for Load 1 whether I needed a class A or B to operate the type of truck he was driving. It looked like a combination between a tracker w/ sleeper and box truck. He told neither A or B because the truck was under 10,000lbs. As I mentioned on this site a few weeks ago I have three preventable's on my DAC(two of which will hit their three year mark in July). Do I stand a better chance with an Expedited company rather than a regular trucking company?

You have no chance with either unless you apply and see what they say.

Check into it just depends on how the company feels about things even to drive a sprinter or cargo van most expedite companies want you to have a CDL and good driving record

Most ads I have seen for those jobs require a Class B license.

thats odd, because CDL doesnt start until 26,001. i believe when you reach 10k you need to have a DOT card though.
