Man I have been running for about three weeks now. I can set up and break doubles no problem. But I’m feeling the pain from so many drop and hooks.
First I pick up a empty. First hook. Then take it to location 1 and drop N hook. Then pick up loaded trailer and head back. Now I build my first set. Drive 180 miles to NC and break my set down.
Wait 1 hour 20 minutes and build another set. Drive another 210 miles and break rear trailer off. Drive 30 more miles and and break my lead trailer. Sometimes Fedex ground asks me to build another set for my end day!
It’s a got #### workout. If you include the dolly I have gained more muscle in three weeks than I ever have!
I’m a skinny dude but the reason for my post is my body hurts a little from the drive. Any advice on what you can do to ease the pain of bulding sets and sitting in the truck for longer periods.

I don't take it everyday.....just on days when I hurt more. I also started taking 80 or 100mg
Magnesium daily. After several weeks my muscle tiredness pretty much went away. Any grocery
store or Walmart has it on their shelves....no prescription necessary. I keep the IBProfen handy......
but only need it maybe once a month or so.
Don't know how old you are but I recommend a Men's Multivitamin after you hit middle age. Today's
diet's don't contain near the vitamins your body needs. That should help you. I am guessing that after
you get more used to the new job you will see less tiredness as well.
Also I would look pretty hard at your diet. For years I ignored my diet....just ate whatever was available.
Now I am definitely starting to pay for that...........I have started to watch my sugar and salt intake.
I am absolutely surprised at how bad a lot of the readily available food is. Eating healthy makes a big difference in how I feel. Good Luck.bentstrider83 Thanks this. -

I do what you do as well but 34 years of it. It’s all about setup. Take your time placing the dolly. Keep it out of the holes and dips. Once you do setup properly it becomes a breeze. Get the hang of it now before winter comes. That is when it really gets to be fun.
