I got a warning letter for getting hurt working on equipment took no time off either. If you work on something your at your own risk. Next time ill stick em with a roadside bill. They wonder why drivers get disgruntled here and not want to stay. We had a couple new guys quit or not even show up for there first day of training. I've got 7 yrs of driving exp mostly longhaul clean record and I almost walked on the spot. But I don't want to look like a job hopper so I decided to give it one more chance, I'm over it now but I'm hitting my year so if another stupid letter comes down I will crupple it up and not sign it and walk, which I hope they don't but you never know here.

I got my first warning letter back in November. I took down power lines with a trailer on a main road that I had a delivery on. Even the cops said the power lines have been reported low after hurricane Sandy. I got the investigation letter which was ok, then I got a warning letter saying this is a preventable accident. I wrote back the road is a main road, in which I had a delivery on so I had EVERY right to be on that road. Also the road isnt well lit up at night. I do not accept this letter... A few days later I get another letter stating after more investigation, this incident is going to be considered non-preventable
Then I got injured using their ghetto straight truck which a broken lift gate, all day they made me do 1000+ for the lift gate every stop. Thos trucks are only rated for 1250 and they are so old and not maintained the mess up with 700 pounds. I been writing it up for months, then i got my tractor which I had for a few months then they decide they want me in a straight truck, after a week of write ups and finally getting injured with once again too much weight. They wrote me a letter for my injury because of the defected equipment. Luckily I always make a copy when I drove a peddle unit and wrote a letter back saying the equipment is defective and have been writing it up for months. I handed in ALL the copies I made, and next thing I know the letter was voided -

LOL, maybe I'm just getting lucky with the write ups!!! We had a few guys walk after their first day too. They don't tell you what you need to do. They give you a couple of pig tails and a 5th wheel puller and the keys to the truck. Then they say go here. When I first went to Willows, CA I thought I was going to a yard then a hotel. It was just straight to the hotel and drop there. Then I didn't know what to do from there. Come to find out there was a driver room in the hotel! I found this out after calling 5 different terminals. I know what to do now but the first couple of trips had me stumped!

For p/d I had 3 days training. System is a lot easier than CWF. As for line haul I got a hour of basics then when it was time to go I went by myself no one to train me. It was a easy run to Harrisburg tho

They also made me do a training run up to Vegas so I could run triples. So first trip I leave out of LOS and go to FON then to Willows. I get to Willows and I call FON and they say call Portland. I call Portland and they say call Medford. WTF? Medford says drop trailers and put paperwork in front box. Next Morning I call Medford and phone just rings for about 2 hours. Finally find out I have a set waiting for me in Willows. Paperwork not in front box. Call Medford again and find out there is a driver room. Paperwork is there and away I go. Anyway, after that first trip I had it pretty much down.
