yea they been having me work days too, I dont mind it as its always pitch black around us at night and isnt much fun... Although going north up 87 isnt bad at all at night, guess the stars shine brighter up there... only roblem is you do 245 miles and only see 42 exits... and at times no cars for miles. The barn is only 4 doors, two guys who deliver and work the dock.

Left 309 last night heading to Salt Lake on I-80 west in Iowa around 04:00 am and this Werner truck was 3-4 truck lengths in front of me drifts off to the right side of the road and puts her on the side. I locked em up to avoid him and stopped to help him. Had to kick out the windshield for the driver to get out. He walked away without a scratch.Last edited: Apr 25, 2013

Holy crap! Did he fall asleep at the wheel?

@cenutry I think he was just saying he doesnt want to do dock work LOL
@skinny ouch that looks like it hurt quite a bit. Wonder if he was speeding or feel asleep at the wheel. Usually Werner doesnt really pass me to bad on the hills. Im glad the driver isnt hurt though! That would shake me up quite a bit if I saw a roll over happen in front of my eyes, especially a big rig -
this is how I make space at these north-east over crowded truck stops!!! Yea I had a 47 triples unit.. was nice passing all the mega carriers on the hills of PA/NY, slowest I did was 55mph LOL

Hi, ACH1130 I'm looking for some information. I'm close to being hired at the Kansas City Terminal part time dock worker. I'm trying to get into a driving position I have all endorsements and a CDL but not much experience. Yrc says I need to start out on the dock and work myself up to a drivers position. Just wondering how long would it take to get a drivers position they say maybe I'd be able work the dock part time and driver when they need a driver for that day. Is there a specific training for a inexperienced driver. I'm sure they just don't give you the key and let you roll. Sorry for the long debut. Im just lost wondering how this is all going to turnout. Thanks for any info. tannett4731

Yep. You guys guessed it. When the police showed up they asked him immediately what happened at which his response was "well I guess I dosed off". Definitely scared me as well. In my 16 years of driving this was the first time I've seen a truck flip let alone one right in front of me like this.
