Hmm they did away with the velocity, utility, and shuttle drivers last year during the COO. Maybe not everywhere I guess...

Besides the 2 hour wait at Harrisburg today was an awesome day. Only 9.5 hours altogether(after taking out break). Man I miss those long runs, no traffic at all, 442 miles for the day. I'm PRAYING all boards are on rest again for when my time to get called is ready. Sick of Long Island, NYC and New Jersey. Maybe next time ill go back extra board as when bids are ready it will be in the middle of the fall...

@Squonk your girl Mia was there... And of course no burgers or dogs...

got to take the cascadia on its maiden voyage today... only to the rail yard. It was a smooth ride, and even had the new car smell. It had NO radio still, and another pet peeve is NO exhaust brake... guess YRC is getting even cheaper with this...

It does have power windows though, and seemed to pull better than the newer white volvos. Took a while to get used to the split windows and the new RPMS for the shifting, they seem to run lower than the volvos do

Radio I'm ok without. I bring my own in and usually plug in my iPod or the Sirius, I use my dads as he has extras. Jake brakes I don't know why we don't have, our older volvos all have them, the white volvos don't... The 08-09 trucks have the same engine and have them... Not sure why YRC is being cheap about this...

oh and the cascadias do 65

We were low on power the other day so they had to rent some Penskies. I sat for 3 hours that day, now I know why. Guess it's a good problem to have. Better than not enough work.

I used to run shuttle, road and rail all out of the San Bernardino, CA yard in 2006/2007. Shuttle and rail yard were all paid hourly. The line runs were mileage. Those were the days. I was grossing over $1500 a week till it just died out completely!
