I use to run sleepers out of 511 (Dallas Tx) into Bloomington a lot. It was a nice terminal. Heard YRC shut it down?

Well I hope the Cascadia daycabs are better than the sleepers. The sleepers have turned out to be real lemons. Not sure why they didn't add jake brakes to them. Kinda strange

Yes they closed Bloomington and now run all freight thru San Bernadino.

Company I work for is doing away with Crashcadias, and buying all Volvo... The difference is Cadillac vs geo between the two. I won't miss my Cascadia when it disappears next spring. We have radios, and exhaust brakes though! Although you can stick your arm out the window and do more than the Cascadia engine brake! Good luck with the new ride.

Our old volvos are just worn out. And YRC tunes down the engine so much they are weaker. Volvo was mad about that problem why we stopped getting them. The older volvos have detroits in them, they are beasts, only a handful left in the road fleet. The newer D13 volvos are actually decent, big improvements from the old D12

@skinny a friend of mine from CWF said they just brought 600 Cascadias back to the dealer on being lemons... Kind of bad hope it all gets resolved

Well guys all boards on rest again and this means I get to run off bid... I was able to score our 2nd longest turn to Plattsburgh, NY 258 miles each way... and never leave NY LOL. Easiest run ever, ust straight up i87

Wasn't the old Roadway yard the one in Bloomington? I was out of the one in San Bernardino. I heard they switched over to the Bloomington yard and now went back to the San bernardino yard. San Bernardino was a big yard and right around the block from the rail yard.
