I've pulled the wrong wagon once here. About 3 years ago. The trailer was something like 211878 and I was suppose to pull 211787. The lead pup was right but the rear was wrong. Luckily dispatch at 309 caught it before I got down the road to far. They called enroute and had me to drop it in Milwaukee. No biggie. I've heard it happens to everyone.

Havent done that yet..It's hit or miss at con-way.. If you are management toe sucker they probably wont penalize you, otherwise you will not get get paid for the leg of the run you are on, which I think is fair. You are costing the company money. And knock on wood, I havent done that yet. I look at the number on the manifest, then I say it out loud to myself. When I find the trailer, I call that number out loud to myself then recheckthe manifest.

Its as true as can be. I just wish there was a way to connect with some other old time Reddaway workers to see if they have any situations where they were singled out.. Contract talks are coming up, those are the votes that will be screaming to get their pentions back.. It sounds fishy to me. I really appreciate everyone's input.

it was supposed to be 430538 and I pulled 430539... I was supposed to drop it off at the rail yard in jersey, but since I had the wrong trailer I couldnt, so they told me take it to Harrisburg, which wasnt a big loss to it, I offered to return it or drop it off at 126 but they said no just take it its fine

Well, a couple times I've forgotten where I was going & turned the wrong way on I465. Realized it right away & turned around at the next exit. I'm sure my day's coming when I screw up much worse. Sure it happens to everyone eventually.
