Haven't been on here in a while. Hope y'all had a Happy Thanksgiving! Starting to get kind of cold on the 5 freeway out here in Cali lol!

LOL, yeah right, I don't wanna hear it. Actually, it hasn't been to bad here (highs in the 50s). Back to reality by the weekend though (highs in the teens).

Well at least they haven't shut down the grapevine for no reason yet! Get about 3 snow flurries and they shut it down. It gets below freezing up there but it only takes about an hour and a half to go over the Grapevine, after that it warms up again. Believe it or not but Cali gets down to the upper 30's for about a month or 2 lol! Really though, it gets brutal out here in some areas! We have the infamous Donner Pass, Mammoth Mountain, running north on the 395, those places are no joke! Get snowed in or freeze to death and then in the summer you will die in the heat! I was in Needles, CA once and it was 121 degrees! I don't get to those places anymore so I'm safe. Just the boring old I-5 freeway for me.

    CenutryClass Thanks this.

You can run through the L.I.E. and the B.Q.E through NYC every night instead... averaging about 5 accidents a day that I pass

You guys can keep the east coast. Once I would hop on the 95 north a major depression would fall over me until I was back heading south or west. I did that for 7 years and I don't think I could ever do it again! Paying to drive on the highways, traffic, weather and crazy people. Y'all can have that crap! Comparing it to Los Angeles it's just as bad except for the weather and no tolls. I sit in traffic longer in LA.

If I was in the union, it would be a no vote for me too. It's time for YRC to step up or sink!

Big no if I could vote as well. What the utility driver thing though? Is that like we had when a driver from a terminal goes to a hub then works the dock and go back? We had a guy at 150 do that before the 2012 COO
