What up ST? I'm a KC bidman now. Still lovin it. Hope the car haulin is goin good for you. PacerTrucka: 324 (Indy Terminal) is a good terminal. ST is right, at one time, you had to know someone to get on. Not quite the company it was, but, still a good company. If we can get some kind of retirement deal worked out, will be great.
Congrats on the new bid. Your gonna love the regular schedule. No longer hauling cars. Came back to YRC effective this morning. I was commuting 350 miles one way to Chicago for my job and just got burned out. YRC had a p&d driver retire at the terminal that's only 3 blocks from my house so applied for it the week of turkey day and started this morning. 5 hours of overtime on the first day. No mercy for the new guy I guess. Lol
Awesome! Welcome back ST! It's a #### shame you didn't put those years in here instead of 309. Hell, you'd have a sweet bid now. Walking through the break room to get to the linehaul office seemed like prison @ 309. lol Funny, I talked to one of our guys the other day & he said they have a dispatcher who is really nice now. lol Truthfully, I always liked going up there (as long as they didn't add Global 1). I'm glad I didn't have to start @ 309. Although, I've run into team drivers in KC who actually prefer driving teams. They really like it.
wow. i definitely do. Interview went great. starting at the bottom.. on call on the dock. just waiting to hear back now.
yeah it seems pretty big. had an interview yesterday. received email for physical/drug test today.. pretty stoked.
I do miss running the road at times. Glad I got to do it. I'm happy here in the municipal life now and probly wouldn't go back lol. Well if 123 was closer and I could go as a casual for part-time when available work i d do it for extra cash. YRC should do what we do. We pay into our pension fund out of our pockets. 3℅ of our check. What's nice is we get some say in our pensions
What's with the 'give back 15%' about? Is that part of the retirement plan or Union dues (what are the Union dues)? Thanks! (for YRC is what I'm looking for)
It's about bad management and the workers that make YRC all the the money pay for managements mistakes. Has nothing to do with the Union at all
