Yeah it's legal ACH. Any thing that goes over and above the DOT rules by the company can and is enforced. It's meant to stop guys from working themselves to the bone and free up work for junior guys. We are having an awesome week!! Phoenix didn't put us to bed for the first time so we are waaaaaay ahead of schedule and will finally have a nice long weekend. All road drivers have been called back to work. Not sure how many didn't return. Should know that next week and I'll update as I can.

Glad your workin steady now squonk. Yeah this has been a full load. Had to stop every 500 miles and put in 100 gallons of fuel. Almost done now.

Not a YRC guy, but had an interview with ABF earlier this week. Waiting to hear back from them. I'm still very unsure about their financial and teamster future... I also interviewed for a local fuel hauling job, but hard to compete with ABF pay and benefits. Also unsure about being a casual worker for ABF. Does YRC also use casual/ 10% guys? I don't mind working my way up on the board, but with contract negotiations between ABF/teamsters, not sure what to do...

Well, last summer, when I came to YRC, everyone said, "Aren't you worried they will go under?". Well, no. If they do, I'll just move on. No big deal for a noob. Besides, YRC was the best gig near me and I think they (& ABF) will be fine. If you have a chance to get on @ ABF, I'd take it.

ABF will be fine. ABF you will have to call in every morning to see what kind of work your doing if city driver. YRC I just go in. Fuel hauling by me has more pay though
