Wish it would miss the northeast! Everyday is either rain or snow or ice!!! I can't seem to get a break lol

 

I heard in Phoenix tonight that the weather has really slowed freight down. Probably one of those things where it'll slow things down for a couple days and then it will be go go go. On our way back to 309. Normal route

 

Still sitting. January was very busy. This month, almost to a dead stand still. Hope next month picks up.

Found out that the twin screws handle A LOT better in the rain/snow/ice than the single screws do. Had two of them today went to Elizabeth, NJ, back to 123 then I went to Croxton Rail Yard in jersey again. Only about 310 miles but I also got paid 4 hours of down time so I wont complain.

I like Line-haul A LOT better than peddling. Even though its different hours/days unlike P/D. last year i would never do this, but now as i dont have the gf anymore, all my friends are getting married or having kids, moving away, working or returning to school. I found an apt for 575 a month, its small but its just me and beats driving an extra 120 miles everyday through the mountains. Guess its an opportunity to start over

I'm on my way to my bar now. In the mood for some wings and drinks. Much needed after this week. My friend is driving me so I can go crazy.

Squonk what was in the Stromboli?

 

Italian sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mozzorelli, sauce. I think that's it. They also have a Super Stromboli which has even more stuff, but, I opted out of that. Believe me, I'm sure our Italian food doesn't come close to the stuff over there,but, the place I got it from is known for their stroms.
