Hi all I live in North East Pennsylvania. Just 15 minutes north of Scranton. I was all set to go to work for reputable carrier in the midwest but three day ago i found out someone very close to me was diagnosed with a very agressive and deadly form of cancer. Long story short they were given maybe a year to live. This news has put the new carrier on hold. What i need now is a local company around Scranton or wilkes barre that i can get home every couple days etc. I have a spotless MVR PSP and DAC. with years of experience. If anyone can please help me out with a company i would give many thanks.

its hit or miss i have many friends who drove sand cans to water bottles i have a drill site half a mile away from me. They will work for 2 weeks then not work for 3 weeks. I would prefer freight, more stable. Besides those trucks will beat the hell out of you after long.

Thank you flatbed i might give prime a call to just see what they might have locally. I have worked for Calex let me say my experience going thru 5 trucks in 2 months because of mechanical failure made me run far away from Calex. (not that all these trucks were considered local trucks in the calex fleet not the OTR trucks that are newer). I have only worked for 3 companies. Thank you also puppage. Gaurdian I am so out of shape that im sure that Mclane would probably kill me doing that work (Team with 20 or 30 convience store deliveries a day). That a young mans game Mclane is. Pays good money and decent company but your going to load and unload and team.
