    Cpm is overated... demand percent!!!
    I know that is really the same dollar figure... but just dont pull that hourly stuff. It just depresses you when you find out transportation doesnt have to pay overtime.
    Plus there is the whole multiplication thing...

    You should probably ask if they can just flat rate it all... saves a lot of hassle.

    Most of the time I have sit in someone elses truck, it was hourly and I always drew overtime over 40, here in Alaska it is over 8 in any given day, no matter if you get 40 or not.

    I appreciate everyone's help. I found me something pay $1.00 a mile loaded and empty. Hauling dry ice on a flatbed. Home every other night

    I would hope your running a curtain or a Connie on that. Too slippery to try and tarp.

    Ha,ha, I have hauled ice on flatbeds, actually every spring for 3 years. BEEG ice cubes. I would haul several loads to the Santa Clause house at North Pole.
    They would stack it in big tall long piles and cover it with 1 foot of sawdust, and use it for next winters ice carvings.
    They claimed even if we had a hot dry summer, they would only lose around 4 inches of ice around the edges.
