30 years and 4 million miles and regular home time, hmmmmmmmm sounds like you would be a good candidate for Werner Enterprises

Agreeing with an earlier reply , anythhg over five years doesn’t matter anymore unless it’s with the same company and you want a mileage sticker on your truck

'bout 135K a year. Or 369 per day roughly for all 365 days. Or 600 miles daily for a total of a minimum of 225 days a year.

I got a little over 3 million myself. None of which is value at all. I would be treated like a rug rat newbie out of school. Ive been out long enough that as far as the industry is concerned I have zero experience.

If the OP can carry that experience into any trucking company on earth and hire on to do exactly what he chooses to do, the companies will fall over themselves to get him on.

If I was to get healthy enough (Which is not going to happen) I'll get back into McKesson myself. It pretty much disposes of much of the BS prevalent in this industry related to cold storage, lumpers, hunts point etc.

yeah thanks. after i had posted that, i did some "quick math". i am nearing each day, about 3 million miles in my nearly 40 years, but i do not run that many miles in a year. i only run about 70,000 to 73,000 per year at this job and i gotta start thinking nearly the same with my other "dedicated jobs", as well as the line haul jobs i have had over the years, and not the amount of miles as an OTR driver.

if i were to do some "average math" right now, i am probably close to 3 million now.
