i got to where I really like it. I used to have to turn my coffee into a candy bar (lots of cream, double up on lots of sugar). Went to straight black coffee for a while before I discovered Bulletproof (NDK) coffee. I make four cups at a time, mix in 2 tablespoons of grass fed butter, and a scoop of calogen. Sip on it in a yeti cup til noon or so. Just smooths the coffee out and takes out the bitterness.

I know Kevin has a lot of haters out there, but I still promote him. Gotta remember he’s a salesman too, so you can’t drink all the koolaid. But listening to him over the years has absolutely had a positive effect in my life.

With his new app, you can choose what segment to listen to. I just listen to the health stuff for the most part.

Uhhh, Scraps, I live in Brownsville, TX. The taco stand capital of America. I often see you mention tacos. While doughnuts are my heroin, tacos are my oxygen, lol.

I was gonna post my latest taco pic, but I’ll refrain since the the OP has a good healthy thread going, rather than turn this into fatguy p0rn.

But yes, doughnuts for President, tacos for Vice President. Or reverse order…

    I'm strictly carnivore.
I cook at home then portion and vacuum seal my meals. Two weeks fo food can fit in my little fridge.

For now look at caned goods. You'll have to reduce your other personal items to a bare minimum but you can stuff a bunch in your bag.

I do 20 oz of coffee. 4 tbspns of butter. A little collagen ( although I'm not sure I'm using the right type) little cinnamon an a tbspn of honey. Sometimes a little organic cocoa. I've seen several different ways of making it. Forgot i also use the mct brain octane.

We’ve been looking at those. All 3 in one. $200+, worth it. Especially for space, convenience. Your the first Driver I’ve heard of having one. Seems ideal for the Truck.

I just used the collagen KR pushed (Lanolife) or something. Let me see if I can find a pic. You can find it different flavors, but I don’t think any of it ads much flavor.

Here ya go (took one of the stuff I had):

    And the Vital Farms butter.

4 tablespoons is half a stick of butter. I just put the 2 tbls since I’m not really doing keto, but it’s how I like my coffee. When I’m doing hardcore keto, I’ll also add some MCT oil or coconut oil to start my day with good fats and calories.

I don’t use honey since I still need to loose weight, and I don’t want to add sugars to my routine.

Anyone trying the vertical diet? Other than needing to eat every few hours that seems ideal. I need to read his book. Only seen som youtubes of it.

Feel free to visit the What if it snows thread to share the taco, and any future ones.

After my years in Arizona, I now know the true goodness of a true taco.

An with that, I leave you all to eating healthy and the multiple diets out there. Only healthy info I had was in my last post, all I have now is a desire for a taco doughnut.

I applaud folks who try to better themselves, whether thru eating right, exercise, whatever.

Eating healthy and trucking don’t mix.

Sure you can make it happen, but it’s not easy or convenient. Forget the mega truck stops other than once in a while getting a small cup of expensive greens at Loves. And a few independents in the Midwest that have grocery selection.

Your best bet is stopping at the ever decreasing number of Walmarts that allow big trucks.

Good luck, the grind and hours make good intentions to eat healthy turn into #### real quick.

    Bizzarrogeorge and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I just get the collagen by vital proteins at Walmart. I made the recipe with 4 tbspns of butter cuz the original video i watched showed 2 tbspns for 10 oz of coffee. I should probably pass on the honey i guess. I still need to drop at least 20 lbs. Gotta get more strict on the diet. Been doing really good staying away from grains.

    LilRedRidingHood Thanks this.
