Thanks, yea no more leasing here for awhile especially after what I've been through in the last few months.
I've trained before and I know you get some crazies and some good ones. I try to train hands on where my student is doing 98% of the backing, trip planning with the map and not night driving.

You will have some good trainees and some that bail at the first chance, and then some that shouldn't even been behind the wheel at all. Good idea to stay company, the wear and tear on the truck is murder. Plan on training or they like to cut miles. Husband has five that I can think of that are trucking still, at other companies now. He kept them on his truck until he felt they were trained, whether it was 3 mo or 6 mo. He also trained women too and one had never ever driven her car at night. Good luck if you go, but most comments are true about how bad they are.

I would steer clear of that company. There is so much better out there.

If you have experience and you want more money switch companies just not that one. I had a neighbor in the early 90's based on what I am reading and his experience nothing has changed. As far as the training aspect being that I work at Truck driving school and I will agree with the Freaks. However a good majority actually are nervous and want to be taught. I hear more bad trainer stories than good. So if you go the training route remember your time training and cut them some slack.

why 3 people in a truck, why is training longer than other companies, also most reefer companies have APU'S do to waiting at the docks not cr england, and pay is lower than stevens which is very low
