EXTR also used to be Express Transport/Skokie, Ill.

Stay away from EXTR/ Skokie, Ill.. They used to be Express Transport. They had to change the company name because of insurance cancellation. My refer unit broke down in Phoenix, while in route to Florida. They claimed to have had a $4600.00 claim for 2 pallets of strawberries that the produce company received. The berries pulped at 49 degrees. 2 weeks after I delivered them, I was informed that $4600.00 was going to be withheld from my pay! He kept loading me and kept stringing me along with statements about not putting the costs on me. He wasn't however paying me. Cash advances.....notice was given. 3 weeks later, I parked the truck in the yard. Seems that now, I have some sort of negative stuff on my DAC report. Do you guys have any suggestions on what can be done about this?
Also, I'd like to mention that this company will not hesitate violating ALL hours of duty regulations. I never even turned in one log because I was told by my boss that "It's not necessary". Huh? Doesn't the company have to have these things on file? Thnx.
