    It's very windy here and in IL where I started out this morning. It is supposed to be very windy with high wind and severe thunderstorm warning for south of here and high wind warnings for here.

    Huge fall storm.

    Saw a news report where they’re saying that this storm front is comparable to the super storms back in 1975 that acted pretty much the same way and ultimately sunk the Edmund Fitzgerald.

    I think the rear of this giant system is still coming through the area. Sunny skies don't mean it's safe.


    I just received word another company driver was flipped over in Iowa.

    Got to a truck stop in KY yesterday before it hit. Waited an hour and then continued. You could see the squal line coming, it was that defined.

    I can imagine you could see it coming very easily. I was looking at it on radar, and could easily see the definiton of the squall line.. I wish I could have been there.
