eye test required when picking up cdl from the dmv?

Probably depends on the state. In Michigan if I remember right my license is good for 4 years. Every other renewal they do the eye test. So every 8 years.

Might find their chart online for your friend to memorize like they did the other exam

 

check with the state DMV where you live.

if you can't see, don't drive.

 

i never had that happen. i usually always had a doctors eye exam, and the DMV accepts that.

if he had his DOT physical, that should have already been done.

but, anything is possible these days, like a breathing toxic air tax.
