F2F Transport / Farm2Fleet: My story with no happy end...

I'm flattered, but am far from perfect. Everything I learned, I learned the hard way. I was somewhat in Bill's shoes with my own trucks in the 2007-2009 deal. I always made sure my drivers got paid though. At the end, I was driving my truck to create revenue, just to have enough to pay my drivers. 3 trucks and six trailers went to one truck. I leased to LS and started pulling contract freight and never looked back.
I think I'm going to capitalize on this next upswing and trying to position myself now. I'm going to fire up my authorities and start leasing guys at 85% running the spot market. We're going to be huuuuuggge! What, too soon?

 

Your behind the 8 Ball 40, I already said I was starting one at 90% on spot market freight. Even have access to a really low MC# that I can purchase for $305. Of course everyone is on their own for dispatch, fuel, lumpers, incidental expenses, insurances and they will get paid as soon as I get paid. But I'll only be charging them 10% of everything they make for the use of my low, $305 MC number. So essentially a dispatch service with an MC# for about 7%-8% more than normal dispatch services charge. This is going to be the greatest thing since the invention of refrigerated trailers and revolutionize the trucking industry turning the establishment on their ears.
