It's all water under the bridge for me and I'm in a happy place now. I'm making money and enjoying trucking again. I still beat myself up that maybe I should have quit them long ago when it first started. I set a bad example by hanging around. But it doesn't matter any more.

Yeah. You've helped others alot on this site and obviously wanted things to work out for the best, and you can't control others behavior. We all have a lot of time to second guess ourselves driving down the road. You can make yourself crazy second guessing yourself. There will always be people with ulterior motives that talk a great game, but all you can do is hope you spot them sooner and keep yourself in a good place next time.rollin coal Thanks this.

I'm not comfortable calling them that. I did believe and still do that they had the best intentions at heart. They just went headlong into some things and it spiraled out of control. It could happen to anyone if they get themselves leveraged. And what do you do? Never been there there so I dunno. I know one thing though. If I ever did I'd do anything possible to make it right with people as best I could. To walk away as if nothing.... couldn't do that.spyder7723 Thanks this.

Exactly rc. If going under and failing makes you a con man then the vast majority of folks are con men. He certainly isn't the first to get in to financial problems and he won't be the last.rollin coal Thanks this.

Right. And I may have said otherwise a few months ago when I was a lot madder. But I don't really believe that. People screw up.

True. But real men admit failure, it would seem that this guy isn't willing to stand up and be accountable for what happened to some of these fine folks.
Just an opinion, I'm a total outsider here. Nor am I trying to flame.scottlav46, boom192 and Socal Xpress Thank this. -
There is absolutely no upside for him to come here and say anything. Every time he did in the past the same people jumped on him saying he was lying, or that he had been planning this all along. Etc etc. Heck he even got attacked for driving a ten year old bmw he bought back when they were doing rather well . And not even a really nice bmw. A few months back when things had started going down hill he was here posting, dating things like 'I've made mistakes but I'm gonna right the ship' and he got attacked non stop. If i was him, i wouldn't be posting here either.Last edited: Aug 14, 2016

I wouldn't post here either, but I feel he should at least reach out privately to some of the folks that he owes. Maybe he has done that, but it sure doesn't seem that way.

Spider, this is where we differ on this matter. This didn't just happen by bad circumstances or unforeseen things, it was a result of mismanagement and believing his own hype. The money due operators was used for other things. If you are due 20 per cent that all operate the business on. He screwed people over, does that deserve credit. I saw many times on here him belittle a guy who bought himself a job. Do you really think he suffered thru like the folks he shafted?
