Since when spyder???? I bought out a company called Peterson Transport years ago, 2001 and they would not let me change the name to Kansas Transit, had to reapply???
I probably got a hold of one of those Gov. employees that doesn't have a clue what they are doing.77fib77 Thanks this. -
Operators who were owed money in the past and quit won't be paid by Max Trans. They told Bill that was his problem. And those drivers are at the back of the line behind other creditors. And that's if they ever get anything at all. The silence on social media as of late is deafening.
Western flyer, boom192, Terry270 and 4 others Thank this. -
The part about the new company paying the old debt is what happened at the company the guy stole all the money from I spoke about in the earlier post. A lot of the people were paid from his company while a greater amount were paid from the mob guy's account.
The mob guy came in from out of state with a few suitcases of cash to pay all of the checks drawn on his company. There were probably 150-200 people lined up down the sidewalk waiting with their bad checks when I got there. Most walked out with cash, except the ones that had checks drawn on the crook's company, which just happened to be what kind of check I had.
He said he would pay every penny owed by his company, but wasn't paying for the sob's checks that stole his money and ruined his company.speedyk Thanks this. -
i know a group of owner ops who went threw a similar situation. was oil feild work though, company sold out new owners ran the company into the ground and bankrupted it when they thought they knew how to run a successful company better than the guys who built it from the ground up.
this company paid at 90 days to pay and was running late on that towards the end. a friend of mine was a multi truck owner with 5 trucks leased to said company had almost a half million in unpaid invoices. hired a collection agency who was able to recover some money direct from the customers. and then after over a year got him a settlement for about 1/3 of the remaining balance owed.
i hate to see anyone go threw that. it is a shame as well i liked bill from his posts on ttr and many owner ops appeared to be happy there previously. i hope it all works out in the end. -
So is F2F now running under Max Trans's authority?

I like to pay my bills, no matter what has happened. If Bill doesn't have the money to pay in full now, I would contact each person owed, explain his intention of paying, and pay as much as possible now, along with a promissory note to pay the balance as soon as possible.
In the situation I posted about earlier, I lost a boatload of money and got waaaay behind. I went to every bank and place I owed, explained what happened, how much I owed, how much was coming in, and stated I would pay everything, but it would take a while.
It did take a while, and I had to get rid of a truck, but I paid for that truck for three years after I had to get rid of it, but everyone got their money.Grijon, Terry270, popcorn169 and 7 others Thank this. -
