Facing issues on curves as new truck driver

Do you mean a curve or a corner? Can't see why on a multi- lane highway why a semi - truck can't overtake another slow moving vehicle on a corner. By corner do you mean an intersection, the idea is to get into the correct speed before you turn this is something that you should of been trained at CDL school I would of thought. The same principle applies to racing car drivers where you will quite often see racing drivers get involved in "traffic incidents" on corners the same principle can be applied here is when they are approaching the corner at to higher speed then can't take the corner and end up taking out another race participant.

 

It's alot easier to speed up than it is to slow down. Catch my drift.

 

Yes, well. nearly everyone on the road these days think they are NASCAR drivers.
Both 4-wheelies and big trucks.

 

I can think of 2 turns on the freeway on my daily routine. If you aren't braking. You van guys will tip over.

I remember a construction zone section that dot never had warning signs.
Causing trucks to roll over on occasion if you didn't know WTF.

Be slow and cautious. And you'll keep your career. Usually there are signs for speed in a curve. Usually. Megas want you 10 mph UNDER that posted speed.

Flatbeds are above the rules. I always look at the empty flatbeds with envy.
