Awe come on! You gotta kick his ash and take everything valuable in his truck. If there is stuff you don't want, give it to a local homeless guy or goodwill or something. Property damage is sooo 2008. lol

Is your life so invaluable this is going to be your driving force for years to come....Somewhere, somehow we have all been shafted but its not worth ruining your life over by causing personal or property damage..150 years ago this would have been fine, but now? Shake it off and move on knowing that you will be more cautious in the future. Everything in life is a learning experience... whether you consider it good or bad its still a lesson....best of luckLast edited: Aug 11, 2009

WHAT ? YOUR FINGER ?
You All are talking about two different subjects back there.
There's a difference between getting paid by a shipper, and getting your revenue from another carrier or broker.
If the money due is from another carrier or broker... then contact the shipper, that they have a contract with. Complain to the shipper , that the carrier or broker is not paying the money due you and they are irresponsible in their commitments and You want your money. When the shipper hears this, they will more than likely contact the carrier or broker and will threaten to find themselves another carrier or broker. The Carrier or broker will rather pay you to keep their customer.
. We had no problem using the factoring company when we gave them the bills of one of our customers. We gave them just one of our customers. This was to help get us on our feet when we first started out, until we were able to carry our own weight. If you have more than one customer, it wouldn't be wise to hand them all over to the factoring company.

Here is an old post that may be worth reading
I don't believe in using a factoring company for another carrier or broker. To begin with, they should pay in a timely manner. Second, you wouldn't be making any money doing it that way.
A factoring company is good to use at times , when you have your own customer, that pays beyond 30 days and you don't want to wait on it. -
you need to have a good factor company. thats the difernace one that will work with you and know when to call and when to send legal. Also they better offer credit checks. We used a company back in the day call carriernet group financial the guys out their very smart they are small but man if I had a question they knew the answer they use accounting as a tool for success. I listened and it worked that was 5 year ago. I still get burend every so often if I dont do my homework with brokers or shippers. but its been over a year since I lost 2300.00 on an over priced load ( got greedy) They have a cool software program called truckwin and at the time where settng up a shipper load board so I did not have to use those #### brokers who skip town every two weeks and only pay a small bond WOW 10,000 that may only be 3 load if im lucky. any whooo!!! look em up I
