Once in a while in a fine temper *Snap*

the decision is made. Off I go.

Ive had people try to save a account or save whatever it is lost and water under the bridge with me choosing to leave it. I would tell them what part of Finished do you not understand?

I like to think things through first it's alot easier and less of a temper. I had a crank try to label me old mule because I would dig in just like one that refuses to move this way.

One fine day in a mailroom of a Black and Decker Facility in Maryland where 840 of 1100 were sent out of a job to hire me part time after a supervisor said one thing too often I decided that was for the birds and it was within a week I was establishing towards trucking school. Believe it or not, I was able to leave that particular employer out of the history as it did not exist in those days. It worked out well.

I don't remember the cause of the snap anymore but it would most likely have to do with the metering machine choking on the letters that has to go out that afternoon into the US Postal system from accounts upstairs. The supervisor took a painful note in her voice as if I was around 6 and too stupid to count .24 cents or whatever the mail rate was... for the nth time that week.

I was not going to spend my life trapped in a corporate situation like that.

Its probably just because you were being tested. If the tester wasn't in the truck with you, you probably would have shifted more smoothly.

One other thing to keep in mind is you have probably only been in control of a semi a maximum of a couple of hours, since you are still in school. And you think you are dumb because you haven't mastered everything yet?

Your school should be allowing you to practice shifting more before you test again. That's the way my school worked. Then you will probably pass. I don't think anyone in my class that made it to the end of the course failed their road test 3 times.
