Failed a prehire drug screen due to deluted specimen

Coffee-- the original energy drink.

 

I started drinking coffee when I was 5. (cream and sugar) I am almost 50. By 15 straight black. Each year I make it stonger until now. I can not make it any stronger. I fill the brew basket full and don't fill the water all the way up. . Coffee has no effect on me unless I don't drink it at all. Then I get bad headaches, wife says grumpy... Addicted to caffeine and peppermints...

 

Same way.. I drink coffee till I go to bed... it has no affect anymore.. but if i dont drink it..my head pounds till I get a few cups in me

 

I seem to recall a body of research done about the effect caffeine has on the body's natural pain-killers, i.e., endorphins. Maybe the caffeine you take in with your coffee is waking the little buggers up and relieving your headache pain. My ex used to swear that coffee speeded up the effect of the Exedrin she took for headaches.

 

Exedrin is high in caffeine. That is why it works so well with my headaches.

 

I have been known to wake up. Make a pot of coffee and go back to bed. It has no effect on me except by not drinking it.

 

All the migrane pills have is caffeine and tylenol, excedrin,etc. it helps with blood flow.

 

I get headaches Excedren has 55mg of caffine 250mg asprin and 250mg of some word I can't spell the 55mg of caffine is equal to about 2 cups of coffee seems like this post kinda got off the original topic.

My wife has never done drugs in her life, but failed a pre-employment drug test a few years back because it was "too clean".

Never could figure it out, but after reading this I assume this is what they meant.

 

Yes....if you drink tons of water, it will dilute....BUT you can fight that result....if you drink lots of water by drs orders or by another test. It has to be proven that you didnt intentionally try to alter the test. we have that problem w randon screening in Emergency MEdical Services. Most of our employees aree heavy wateraholiocs.
