Well, he's heard the stories of bad truckers. But a few bad apples doesn't ruin the whole crop. Not doing a brake check is taking your life into your own hands. It's stupid to not check your brakes. It takes what? a whole 3 minutes to do a full brake check??? 3 minutes vs killing yourself or potentially multiple ppl? Same as doing a pre-trip. The fines and time lost NOT doing it are well worth the time it takes to do a good pre-trip.

I caught it cause I resembled the comment! Never been asked about 3 or 4 psi drop or just forgot good to know.At least he didn’t bust the front hubcap by trying to “knock” it back in after checking fluid. Ahhemmm

How can it "be stupid" when you knew exactly what was being tested and knew that you had to do it perfectly to pass?

You made a mistake. Big deal. Nail it next time.

Thanks yeah it is technically half right. I was also taught the static air loss was 3psi so I mixed it up with that.

We had someone do that at work. Swore up and down he didn't know how it got cracked. No longer with the company for other reasons. LOL.
