Failed DOT Physical

Not sure if that can be traced. It may be something you really need to get checked for you benefit though.

 

Go to another doctor for a physical. Try a chiropractor or someone like that who does a DOT physical. Doctor shop

 

CVS minute clinic but it isn't cheap. But take it from me to really watch your health.

 

If you drink coffee and smoke cigs try cutting that out for a day and see if that helps.

I know, me too LOL. Just tough it out on the morning of the physical then get a big cup of coffee on the way home.

 

If your BP was okay I'd rule out anxiety. The shaking in your hand could simply be from too much caffeine or low blood sugar. If you didn't eat anything prior to going and had a couple cups of coffee that could cause it.

Try self evaluating yourself over a couple days, eat right and cut down on caffeine. If it goes away consult your personal physician so they can confirm it was a temporary diet problem. If your Personal Doc signs off on it your DOT doc may accept a note from them and you'd be good to go.

 

Get another physical somewhere else and don't mention that you already had one. Practice not letting the tremor be visible. Some people with Parkinsons Disease can hide it a little by putting pressure on the affected area such as hold the arm against a table edge or while sitting in a chair they'll hook their foot on the chair leg and hold pressure against it.
