Mary Jane is a Schedule 1 listed substance.
It is not a narcotic. The reason it is placed on schedule 1 is due to its nature to be abused and potentially addictive. Testing only finds the metabolic activity of processed THC. It doesn’t know what method the THC entered the system.Oxbow, brian991219, Feedman and 2 others Thank this. -

Can Drivers Return to Work After Failing a Drug Screening?
A failed drug screening will either leave you unemployed or suspended. However, if you follow the proper channels you may be able to regain eligibility. Drivers will need to be evaluated by a DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), and complete the required training and treatment plan. Once complete, they must have a follow up evaluation with their SAP. If you regain employment, your SAP will complete 6 random tests over the next 12 months. This is in addition to your employer’s screening procedures.
While you may regain your eligibility, this does not guarantee employment. In fact, it will likely be difficult to find a company willing to be the first to hire you after a failed screening. Insurance premiums will skyrocket and you may have problems finding an insurance carrier willing to accept your risk. And remember, refusing to take a drug test will be treated as if you failed a drug test.
Always talk with your doctor, pharmacist and employer before taking any drugs, regardless of whether they are legal, over-the counter or prescribed. It’s not worth killing someone or losing your livelihood. -

The reason it is placed on schedule 1 is due to nixon's hatred of hippies.
There are no real studies supportimg its placement as a schedule 1, but because it is a schedule 1, you cant do proper research. Fun catch 22 isnt it?
Its probably not the panacea all the potheads say it is, but its also highly unlikely that it does nothing positive.
Even cocaine isnt a schedule 1, its schedule 2. In fact, id bet every single one of you here has had it before. (Lido-CAINE, nova-CAINE) etc.
So cut the bs, the reason its a schedule 1 is politics.Opendeckin, ZVar and Numb Thank this. -
Yes, you can get your own authority, buy you still have to register your authority into the Clearinghouse and if you’re going to be driving, you’re going to have to list yourself as a driver and register with a drug consortium.
Also since you failed a drug test with a previous employer, it doesn’t exempt you from the fact that you’ll have to enter the Substance Abuse Program (SAP) and complete it since you’re already listed in the Clearinghouse as failing a drug screen.
So basically in a nutshell, getting your own authority isn’t going to sidestep you from the fact that you failed a drug screen and that you’re going to have to complete the SAP program before returning to duty.brian991219 and prostartom Thank this.
