Failed engine overhaul can I collect lost revenue?

I’m sorry. I’ve been up since 4 AM and was just simply trying to help out. From my understanding, there’s got to be a warranty on that overhaul. He needs to seek out an attorney specializing in the trucking industry.

 

There was warranty. They did it again for nothing out of his pocket. That’s more than most would do.

 

You realize about every 3 times you have a shop work on something remotely not minor, it’s messed up. OEM dealers are the worst. Haven’t found a decent shop in the last decade. They made it right by fixing it. They’re not going to pay downtime. It’s not in the repair contract. We would be wishing that repair shops would mess things up and pay us downtime with the rates they have these days ! How much equipment do you own, giving this advice?!

 

You’re right on that one. If that was the case, a friend of mine would be asking the dealership repairing a truck of his to cover a Ryder rental.

 

No doubt, you got a customer to serve and equipment is down, gotta get a rental. Good feller for keeping customers happy.

 

A guy can't even get a courtesy car out of a car dealer these days and people expect a free rental truck?

 

Actually my local Toyota dealership will do that free of charge when you a new or certified used car from them.

I was like them dealers are lame. Put me in a w9 loaner. It had short stacks and tiny drop viser. Cheapskates… then I wake up from my “kopf kino”

 

Bought 2 brand new vehicles from 2 different dealerships. Couldn't even get a free hat out of them FFS.

 

I feel lucky. Bought 2 new X4 carriers and got a mug.
