Failed the test what happens now?!!

My husband has been training with Prime since the beginning of January. Hes been told by his trainer that he is the best driver hes had. ( he even fell asleep while my husband was driving shhh) He went back to take the test yesterday and failed. He was told by the tester that he was a "fantastic driver"...but he failed him. He said he ran over a curb. No problem he will try again today. Well he went out this morning and had no points against him and the tester said he ran over the curb. he swears he didnt, they even went back and there were no tracks in the snow where the tester said he "went the hole way up over the curb". So now he is on day three. What happens if he doesn't pass tomorrow, do we have to pay for training? I know we need to pay back the $200/week loan he has been getting? Can he take his test again in Michigan. I feel so bad, he is soooo upset right now. He was told that this tester has only been testing for 2 weeks and hasn't passed a single person! Something doesn't seem right...

 

thanks guys. He is looking into requesting another tester. I feel so bad, his is a nervous wreck right now. He passed both the skills test and inspection with flying colors. It really sounds like the tester is a little shady to me. He docked him 29 out of the possible 30 points on the first day and told him he was a fantastic driver...Hubbys trainer argued some of the things he was marked for and they took off 5 of the points...do they tell the trainers they have to fail people? i know that because prime has their own testers, they have to have a certain fail rate but it seems a little ridiculous!

 

He really wants to work for prime, he has been impressed with the company and is quite comfortable with them. I feel so bad because he is so stressed right now. And like you said red eye, being stressed won't help when he takes the test tommorrow!!! I know there is a waiting period before you can test again but what if he were to come take the test in michigan? Does he still have to wait? Would he be able to go back and be a trainee with prime or wouldn't they hire him if he didn't pass the test there?

 

He was told that by other drivers taking their test, who heard it from people before them and so on. I know...we don't know how true that is, but no one has passed since he's been there on Monday.

 

I know red eye! thats what I told him! He should get a picture! He went out later and went over the rout 4 times with his trainer and never hit the curb once. This all seems a little weird. Do you know if he were to come home and take his test in michigan if Prime would hire him as a trainee?
