i'm really surprised that as an o/o, you thought that you did not have to list that. frankly, c'mon, you didn't know any better?
what would you do, if YOU were hiring someone, and that person "didn't think since he wasn't at fault, didn't need to list it".....
wouldn't YOU think from that point, he falsified an application?
would YOU hire someone that falsifies an application?
really surprising, you thought you didn't have to list that.....

It's possible they ran you through their insurance, and it was questioned by them.
Metallica88 Thanks this. -
Your mistake was in not knowing in advance what they were going to find out. You can pull your own DAC or DriverFacts, whichever your previous employer uses, and you can pull your own PSP. Also, you know trucking companies are required to contact your previous employers. You should already know what they will say about you.

I always listed everything with damage and made a note several animal strikes I don't remember the exact date on.
That said other than animal strikes I average one non-chargeable every 10 years. -
Not an o/o and don’t yet have a CDL but this got me thinking. If you’re a passenger in a friend or family members car, and they get hit while you’re in the car. There’s a claim and they’re deemed not at fault for the accident. Being the passenger and it not being my car would this be something I’d have to disclose to companies I apply to? Not trying to change the subject away from the original poster, but it got me thinking and this seemed a better place than any to ask.

Any time a LEO makes out an accident report, whether you were at fault or not, there will be a record of the accident on file somewhere.
I think in the OP's case the company considered the failure to disclose the accident as dishonest. With that thought in mind, they round-filed the app.
Tossing an app that has questionable answers isn't always the right thing to do but from a company's point of view it saves time and trouble.Bean Jr. Thanks this.
