I know that you don't know me or my husband but I do have a favor to ask. My hubby went to take his final test after being out with a good mentor. I don't know if its nerves, exhaustion or both, but he failed a portion of the final test. He is a good man and has always worked hard. I never have had to worry about him not trying to provide for me and our 4 kids. If it wouldn't offend you, could you please say a prayer for him tonight. He is to go back tomorrow and try again. Thank you and be careful out there.
Failing at the final test.

Backing. I know he can do it because I've seen him back when he got his cdl. Me on the other hand... Well let's just say I have a ton of respect for all of you.

You have my thoughts and prayers too, what kind of backing did you say or not say, my hardest is backing too right, but tell him do this , this helped me through tough spots too back in, get out look, plan your backing as walk the path you want too go, get back in , breath in out a few times too get relaxed and say i can do this and have a go at it , pull ups too me are part of the backup, i dont care how times i do pull -up , it better too pull up then smash a hood

Saying a prayer and letting you know....don't give up.

Please tell us all that he didn't touch a cone in JB Hunt's final test... There's backing tests to test skill and there are backing tests to weed out a surplus of applicants and to keep driver's pay low...
The real test of a driver is to see how he performs for five years after he's hired.Everett, FloTheWaitress and RickG Thank this. -
Its all about the setup. If you setup properly you can push that 53' into a mouse hole.
best o luck to him. If I were him, id get his mentor to let him practice in the yard a few times more before he tests.. if ya fail 2nd time, well.....
Im sure he will nail it..
