Couldn't do anything about this 300lb other than dumping some boxes from the tail of the trailer ofc.

Got a ticket from perry police for failure to stop at port of entry 15N ex357 UT and failure to obey traffic control device...he was sitting off 89 about 5 mi from poe... do they have authority to issue ticket for that like state trooper?
Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
I talked to a local lawyer he said he can't pull trucks over without cause on the assumption they're going around poe. I've been calling around looking for a local lawyer who knows the prosecutor. If you know a reasonably priced attorney in brigham city/perry UT please pm.

first time offense in UT it's a class b misdemeanor, 2nd offense class a...obviously I'm trying to get it dismissed outright or reduced down.

Blew a scale in Oregon the other day. It was half on purpose. One of those portable scales in the middle of nowhere. No prepass, no alert on my gps. Could have gotten over but would have had to brake hard and let 2-3 people blow by me.
Just kept rolling like I didn't see it. -
Fight! Fight! Fight! Get an attorney could be the conditions inhibited the sign being interpreted properly which is government responsibility. Copy?

Called court total fine $430...clerk gave me number for prosecutor. A local attorney wants $1200 to handle it...$2400 if it goes to trial. That's not including court fees or fines.
I will try to work out a deal with the prosecutor first...but if he goes into details of the case I'm not sure how to respond. I certainly don't want to admit guilt or say anything that might be damaging.
How would you guys play this? -
