Yet you are the one who keeps arguing that it's legal in spite of the fact that I claimed it was unnecessary and unsafe, nothing to do with the laws.

Over 2 miles my butt barley over 1 minute he was behind the truck
PoleCrusher Thanks this. -
No he wasn't. There is no way he could be with over 50% of his visibility cut by riding too close. he simply could not see if from of the Ford. Period.
Simple fact if something happened in front of the Ford and he hit his brakes no amount of training would have prevented a very bad wreck and very likely a fatality. Again, basic physics. A radar controlled breaking system likely would not react in time, much less a human.
Should the Ford have gotten over? Yes, but that doesn't absolve the trooper of his disregard of the safety of others on the road. -
It amazes me how, in so many incidents involving the police, from situations like this to controversial shootings, people feel the need to choose sides, to declare that one party is wrong and one party is right, when all too often the incident is a chain of screw ups from all parties involved. Often more than one party share at least partial blame, and sometimes both/all parties are completely in the wrong.Badmon and NavigatorWife Thank this.
